Record Mart HiFi — 2024 Client Work

Vintage Audio Gear Dealer

Record Mart HiFi is a company with a rich history that buys, restores, and sells vintage home audio gear. My job with Record Mart HiFi was to create a full brand identity (logo suite, typography, color palette, etc.) and update the store’s Shopify website. The outcome was a clean, yet nostalgic rebrand with nods to the shop’s original customer base and mature audience. I drew inspiration from the store’s roots in the NYC subway system as well as the sleek designs of audio equipment found in Record Mart Hifi’s warehouse. This project was a delight, from diving deeper into Record Mart’s past, to conceptualizing a permanent photobooth for product images and assisting the founder with the construction of it. My partnership with the brand is ongoing as I am now in the process of designing and executing its email and social media marketing.
